CONGO BARS 
2 3/4 c. flour
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 c. chopped pecans
1 pkg. chocolate buds

Melt butter. Add brown sugar. Stir. Set aside and cool. Beat eggs. Stir into above mixture slowly. Add flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla. Blend well. Add nuts. Place into greased 10 1/2 x 15 1/2 inch pan or 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees 20 to 30 minutes.
