SPICED ORANGE PECANS 
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. + 1 tbsp. evaporated milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. orange peel
Dash of allspice, cloves and salt
4 c. whole pecans

Heat sugar, milk and seasonings to soft ball stage (234 degrees). Remove from heat and add pecans, stirring until mixture begins to thicken and become sugary.

Spread coated pecans on waxed paper to one layer of thickness. Let cool, then break into pieces.
