ORANGE PECAN LOAF 
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
2 lg. eggs
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. pineapple & orange juice mixed
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. pecans, chopped

Cream sugar and butter well. Add eggs and beat until smooth. Combine flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl. Combine juice with vanilla. Alternately add flour mixture and juice to sugar beginning and ending with flour mixture, beating well after each addition. Stir in nuts. Pour batter in well greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done.
