PUMPKIN APPLE BREAD | |
1 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. melted butter 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1/3 c. milk 1/3 c. plus 1 tbsp. sour cream 2/3 c. canned pumpkin 1 2/3 c. plus 3 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. baking powder 3/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/3 c. chopped apples 1/2 c. chopped pecans Sugar Combine flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, soda, and salt. Beat together sugar, butter, and canned pumpkin; mix well. Add apple and pecans. Add to flour mixture and mix enough to moisten dry ingredients. Pour into 1 greased and lightly floured loaf pan. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes. |
