PEAR HONEY 
9 c. ground pears
1 c. crushed pineapple
5 c. sugar
1 box or 2 packets pectin (optional)

Peel, core, slice, and cook pears until soft. Put in blender or mash. Place all ingredients except pectin in stainless or enamel cookware; cook over medium heat. Bring mixture to slow boil and cook, stirring frequently until mixture is thick. Place hot mixture into jars or cool to put in freezer.

OR, put all ingredients in specified pan. Bring to boil, add pectin. Remove from heat. Place hot mixture into jars or cool to put in freezer.
