PEGGY COOK'S VANILLA ICE CREAM 
2 cans Eagle Brand milk (15 oz. each)
2 cans evaporated milk (16 oz. each)
OR 1 pt. whipping cream
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 gal. whole milk
2 oz. pure vanilla

Mix all ingredients and prepare in ice cream freezer/maker. Place in freezer to harden before serving.
