COOKED VANILLA ICE CREAM 
2 to 2 1/2 c. sugar
5 or 6 eggs (beaten)
1 1/2 pt. whole milk
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk
1 (13 oz.) evaporated milk
1 pt. whipping cream
3 tbsp. vanilla
1 1/2 or 2 pt. whole milk

Combine first 3 ingredients and bring to a boil. Cook until mixture coats a metal spoon. Cool real good. Add remaining ingredients and mix. Freeze as usual. Makes 1 1/2 gallons.
