CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BALLS

1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 c. chunky peanut butter
1 tbsp. butter, melted
12 sq. semi-sweet chocolate

Line baking sheets with waxed paper. Combine dates and walnuts in large bowl. Add powdered sugar. Blend in peanut butter and melted butter and mix thoroughly. Shape into 1-1 1/2 inch balls.

Melt chocolate in top of double boiler. Set over hot, not boiling, water, stirring to prevent lumping, dip balls into chocolate with fork turning to coat. Transfer to baking sheets. Refrigerate until chocolate is set, about 1 hour. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Freezes well.
