MARIA'S MEAT AND RICE CASSEROLE 
1 c. cooked rice, drained
1 tsp. chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. water
1 lb. chopped chuck (lean)
1 egg
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 tsp. chopped parsley
Dash of nutmeg
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix rice and ingredients; set aside. (You may need to add a little bit of more water to moisten mixture.)

Mix meat and ingredients and brown in skillet - drain liquid.

Mix together rice and meat mixtures. Spread in a greased baking dish. Bake uncovered for about 40 minutes at 375 degrees. This mixture is also good to stuff a chicken or turkey.
