CHEESEBURGER PIE 
1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
8 slices American cheese
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1/3 c. green pepper
1/3 c. chopped onion
3 eggs, well beaten
2 tbsp. flour

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Prick pie shell bottom. Bake 8 minutes. Remove from oven. Reduce oven to 350 degrees.

In large skillet, brown meat. Add tomato sauce, pepper, onion, and simmer. Cut 6 cheese slices into pieces. Stir in eggs, flour, and cheese. Put into baked shell. Bake 20-25 minutes.

Arrange extra cheese on top. Bake 3-5 minutes longer until cheese melts. Garnish with tomato and lettuce.
