CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
1/2 c. cocoa
5 eggs
1/2 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. nuts

Cream butter and Crisco. Add sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Sift flour, baking powder and salt three times. Add alternately with milk. Add vanilla and cocoa. Preheat oven. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
