1 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. unsifted powdered sugar
3 c. Cocoa Krispies cereal
1 c. chopped peanuts
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate pieces
2 tbsp. shortening

Combine peanut butter and butter. Stir in sugar; add cereal. Mix well. Shape level tablespoon of mix into logs; roll in peanuts. Place on wax paper lined cookie sheets. Melt chocolate with shortening over low heat, stirring until smooth. Drizzle chocolate mix over logs; chill.

Makes approximately 40 logs.
