BARBECUED BEEF BRISKET 
8-10 lb. beef brisket, trimmed
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. barbecue sauce
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Preheat oven to 475 degrees. Place brisket in 13 x 9-inch pan and bake for 30 minutes uncovered. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in saucepan and mix well. Bring to boil for 1 minute. Remove brisket and pour sauce over meat and cover with foil. Reduce heat to 250 degrees and bake for 6-7 hours. Slice thin, preferably with electric knife. Serves 10-12.
