CORN BREAD 
3 c. flour
2/3 c. cornmeal
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar (Bakewell Cream)
Salt

2 eggs
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. oil
2 1/2 c. milk

Beat eggs. Add sugar, oil and mix well. Add milk and mix well. Add dry ingredients from the sifter. Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan at 425 degrees. This will rise quite high so takes longer for the middle to get done. Test after 20 minutes with toothpick.
