IRISH SODA BREAD 
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
6 tbsp. (3/4 stick) butter, melted
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 box (15 oz. size) raisins, seedless

Sift dry ingredients together and set aside. Combine beaten eggs, melted butter, buttermilk, stir in raisins. Add dry ingredients to egg mixture, mixing until moistened. Pour batter into greased 10 inch tube pan or 2 greased (9 x 5 x 3 inch) loaf pans.

Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 55 minutes for tube pan and 45 minutes for loaf pans. Let cool 10 minutes, remove from pan and cool completely.
