POTATO SOUP | |
4 celery stalks, cubed 4-6 carrots, cubed 1 stick butter 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1 med. onion, sliced 5-6 lg. peeled potatoes, cubed 1 can evaporated milk 1 c. lg. elbow noodles In large pot put celery, carrots, onion and potatoes and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until done. Add the butter and bring to a boil. In a small bowl add the milk and flour and make a paste. Cook the cup of noodles. After the noodles are done add the noodles and paste to the large pot with the other ingredients. Add the garlic salt and bring back to a boil and then let simmer for about 10 minutes. |
