1/3 c. butter 1/3 c. brown sugar 1 c. flour 1/2 c. nuts 1 tbsp. lemon juice 8 oz. cream cheese 1/4 c. sugar 1 egg 2 tbsp. milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla Cream butter and brown sugar. Add flour and nuts to make crumb mixture. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Press the remainder into the bottom of 8x8 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly brown. Blend sugar and cream cheese. Add egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla. Beat well. Spread over baked crust. Sprinkle on the reserve crumb topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool and cut into squares. |
