CABBAGE AND NOODLES 
1 head chopped, cored cabbage
1 sm. diced onion
1/2 lb. cut up bacon
1 lb. noodles

Fry bacon and onions until bacon is browned. Add chopped cabbage, frying until soft. Add water a little at a time so it won't burn. Cook noodles as directed, drain and fold into cabbage mixture. Mix water, sugar, salt, pepper in a cup; add vinegar to your own taste. Pour over cabbage noodle mixture. Stir well.
