CABBAGE NOODLES 
1/2 lb. wide noodles
Pinch black pepper
1 sm. head cabbage
1 sm. onion
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. butter

Boil the noodles until soft, in boiling water for 8 minutes. Drain and rinse. Set aside.

Cut up cabbage, very fine. Add salt and set aside for about 20 minutes. Squeeze out thoroughly. Saute onion in butter until golden brown. Add cabbage to onion. Sprinkle with sugar and saute until brown, stirring constantly. Combine with the cooked noodles.
