MAMA'S TEA CAKE RECIPE 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix all together. Knead lightly on floured board just enough to pat into 1/4 inch thickness. Put with 3 inch cutter and bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Cool and store in tin container. Will stay crisp for several days.
