1/2 gallon ice cream, any flavor
4 sugar cones
4 lg. cookies
Candies, chocolate chips, fruits, and/or nuts

ICING:

3 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
5 tbsp. milk (or more as needed)
Food coloring to color icing

Place cookie on flat surface. Top with a scoop of ice cream. Use sugar cone for hat. Decorate face with candies, fruits, etc. Decorate with icing for hair and costume. (NOTE: Have icing made before assembling clowns.) For easy decorating cone for icing, cut a small hole in the bottom corner of a plastic sandwich bag. Fill with icing and apply pressure until a line of icing comes out of the hole.
