1 lb. vanilla wafers, crushed
1 lb. bag marshmallows
1 1/2 c. sweet milk
1 box dates, cut into pieces
1 c. nuts or more

Line loaf pan with wax paper. Mix nuts, dates and wafers in large bowl. Let milk come to a boil. Add marshmallows and let dissolve. Combine all in bowl. Pour in prepared pan and refrigerate. May add candied fruit and raisins for Christmas fruit cake.
