1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 pkg. (4 oz.) instant vanilla pudding
1 c. sour cream
4 eggs
1/2 c. walnuts, opt.
2 c. sliced apples
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Combine cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, eggs and oil. Beat 5 minutes. Pour 1/2 of batter into greased pan (angel food or bundt). Spread 1/2 of apples, nuts and 1/2 of sugar and cinnamon mixture. Add rest of batter. Top with remaining apples, nuts and cinnamon and sugar.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour in 1 tube pan.
