1 yellow cake mix
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. nutmeg
3 lg. apples, sliced and peeled

Prepare yellow cake mix as directed on box. Add to batter cinnamon and nutmeg. Arrange apples on cake batter in layers. Bake 350 degrees 35-40 minutes. Serve warm. Sprinkle with chopped nuts or use peaches instead of apples.
