STELLAS 
FILLING:

2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

DOUGH:

3 c. flour
3 sticks soft butter
1 c. sour cream

Cut butter in flour. Add sour cream. Chill 6 hours. Divide dough in 4 parts and leave in refrigerator. Sprinkle work surface with 10x sugar. Roll into 8 inch circle. Cut each circle in 8 wedges. Brush with 2 beaten egg whites. Sprinkle with about 1/3 cup of nut mixture. Roll from wide end. Brush tops with egg white and sprinkle with nut mixture. (When cool, drizzle with confectioner's icing.) Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.

ICING:

1 1/2 tbsp. water
1 c. powdered sugar

Mix until it flows easily from tip of spoon.
