1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 (6 oz.) box Jello (strawberry or cherry)

Mix well and warm over low heat until Jello is melted. Remove from heat and let cool. When cool add 2 cups buttermilk. Mix well. Put into refrigerator until almost jelled. Add 1 medium size Cool Whip and return to refrigerator until thoroughly chilled.
