PRIZE - WINNING RUM CAKE

1 box Duncan Hines golden cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. rum

Mix all ingredients together. Pour into greased bundt cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Remove from pan and pour topping over cake.

TOPPING:

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. apricot nectar
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. rum
