ITALIAN BREAD
2 c. flour (5 lb. flour)
2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. oil
3 pkg. dry yeast
8 tsp. sugar
6 c. warm water

Using a large greased dish pan, place 3/4 of bag of flour and sprinkle yeast, salt, sugar over flour.

Add oil sprinkling over flour and mix well. Add enough water to make dough workable.

Add remainder of flour and water as needed to make dough workable. Knead well until dough snaps, cover with damp towel, raise in a cold oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Punch down the dough, make into loaves. Place each loaf into a greased pan, raise in oven for 45 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Makes 5 loaves.

Makes good pizza dough and good cinnamon rolls, too.
