BAKED PORK CHOPS 
6 or 8 pork chops
2 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. dry onion soup mix
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. cold water
Salt and pepper to taste

Melt butter in frying pan, brown chops on both sides. Remove from frying pan and place in a baking pan.

Pour water in frying pan to loosen drippings. Add sour cream and onion soup mix, stirring well. Pour over chops and cover with foil loosely. Bake for 1/2 hour then remove foil and bake for another 1/2 hour.
