CHOCOLATE HO - HO CAKE | |
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix Mix as directed on package. Bake in large cookie sheet (12 x 15 inches) at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until done. While in oven cook and stir until thick: 1 1/4 c. milk Cool. Beat until mixed, then add to flour mixture and beat until fluffy: 1 c. sugar 1 stick butter Spread on warm cake. FROSTING: 3 c. confectioners sugar 1 stick butter, melted 1/2 c. cocoa 1 egg 2 1/2 tbsp. hot water 1 tsp. vanilla Beat and spread over top of cake. Hints: After cake is cook, freeze cake. Take out when ready to frost. Spread frosting while frozen to avoid problem of spreading on flour mixture. |
