MISSISSIPPI MUD PIE 
1 c. flour
1/4 lb. butter, melted
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. finely chopped nuts
1 tbsp. grated coconut

Mix together and press into a 9 inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until browned.

STEP TWO:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 (9 oz.) container whipped topping

Mix together cream cheese and sugar with mixer. Then fold in 1 cup of topping. Spread over cooled crust.

STEP THREE:

1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate pudding

Cook according to package directions, cool, then spread over cream cheese layer.

STEP FOUR:

Spread remaining whipped topping on top. Decorate with grated chocolate and cherries if desired. Refrigerate overnight. Serves 12.
