1 box Devils food or chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 eggs
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Pecan halves (optional) or walnuts

Put first 4 ingredients in bowl. Stir by hand until mixed. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Put nut on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 21 minutes.
