3 c. flour (sifted)
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter (1/4 lb.)
1 c. Crisco or butter (1/2 lb.)
6 whole eggs
3/4 c. of milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Place all above ingredients in bowl, mixing for 20 minutes. Bake in large "Turks Head" pan which has been greased and floured for 60 to 70 minutes at 350 degrees.
