PECAN-PIE SQUARES 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
5 lg. eggs
1 c. dark corn syrup
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. melted butter
2 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13x2 inch pan. In large bowl, mix cake mix, 1 egg, and 1/3 cup of salad oil until crumbly. Press into bottom of prepared pan, bake 20 minutes.

In large bowl of electric mixer, at medium-high speed, beat remaining eggs with corn syrup, sugar, and butter until blended. Stir in pecans, pour on top of mixture in pan. Bake 45 minutes or until filling has set. Cool completely, cut into 2-inch squares. Makes 2 dozen.
