MISS CHA'S RED CABBAGE 
1 med. head red cabbage
3 slices bacon, fried
1 med. onion, sliced
1 med. apple, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. vinegar

Put shredded cabbage in bacon grease and add other ingredients. When ready to serve crumble bacon over top. Cook until tender (covered) 30-40 minutes.
