BREADED PORK CHOPS | |
2 egg yolks 2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. cold water 6 pork chops, 3/4 to 1 inch thick 1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs 6 slices onion 1/2 c. hot water Place egg yolk, salt and cold water in bowl; beat well. Heat 1/4 cup fat in frying pan. Dip pork chops into egg mixture, then into cracker crumbs. Place in hot fat; brown well on both sides. Place onion slices on chops; add hot water. Cover. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. |
