NEW ORLEANS BEANS & RICE 
3-4 cans dark red kidney beans
1 (8 oz.) can whole, chopped tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. red wine
2 - 2 1/2 c. water
1 bay leaf
1 tbsp. garlic
1/4 tsp. hot sauce
2 lbs. smoke sausage (beef or pork)
Rice

In large pot (4 or 6 quart) mix all ingredients except rice. Slice sausage 1/2 inch thick, then cut in half. Add to pot. Cook on low; medium for (10 minutes, then simmer) 1 1/2 hours. Salt to taste.

Cook rice following directions on box for amount of serving you need. Serve a la cart or over rice.
