3 eggs
1 lb. box brown sugar
1 stick butter
2 c. self-rising flour
2 c. finely chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 c. coconut (optional)

Melt the butter. Beat together the melted butter, brown sugar and eggs. Add flour, nuts and vanilla flavoring to butter mixture. Mix together thoroughly. Pour mixture into rectangular baking dish.

Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.

Makes 20 squares.
