1/2 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream soda

FILLING:

1 box dates
1/2 apple
Sugar to sweeten
2 to 4 tbsp. water

Mix together above ingredients. Knead dough and form in 3 rolls, put in refrigerator overnight. Slice dough put on 1 teaspoon filling and cover with another slice of dough. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
