SAVORY CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
2 lbs. frying chicken
2 tbsp. shortening
1 can Cream of Chicken soup
1/2 can milk
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
Salt & pepper
4 carrots
6 sm. onions
1 pkg. frozen lima beans

Cut up frying chicken and brown in a skillet in shortening. Place chicken in 2 quart casserole dish. Pour drippings from skillet in with soup. Add milk, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper. Add carrots (cut in quarters), onions, and lima beans. Cover, cook 20 minutes, stir, and pour over chicken. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
