SWEDISH BUTTER COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp. cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg white
1/2 c. hickory nuts

Make into small balls. Beat up egg white. Chop nuts quite fine. Dip balls in egg whites, then roll in nuts. Make a thumb print in middle of ball and put some jelly in it. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
