CHERRY DESSERT 
1 lb. vanilla wafers
1 can cherry pie filling (Thank You brand)
1/2 pt. whipping cream

Crush wafers, not too fine. Put a layer of wafers on the bottom of a 1 quart dish. Add a layer of cherries, then a layer of whipped cream. Add another layer of wafers, the rest of the cherries, and the rest of the cream. Add the rest of the wafers. Put in refrigerator to set.

Note: Add small amount of sugar and vanilla to whipped cream.
