MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN | |
16 c. popped popcorn 1/2 c. butter 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. light corn syrup 1/2 tsp. baking soda Microwave butter, salt, brown sugar and syrup in uncovered bowl for 3 minutes. Stir. Microwave another 3 minutes. Stir in baking soda. Use 2 large brown grocery bags. Spray with Pam. Put 1/2 the popcorn in each. Do each bag separately. Pour 1/2 the caramel mixture on each. Microwave for approximately 2 1/2 minutes, stopping to shake bag every 30 seconds. After removing from microwave. Continue to shake every minute or so until cool to avoid sticking. |
