CHINESE PEPPER STEAK 
1 lb. round steak
2 tbsp. oil
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 lg. green pepper, sliced
1 env. "Au Jus" gravy mix
1-2 c. water
4-6 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
3-4 c. hot cooked rice

Cut meat crosswise into thin slices. Cook meat, onion and pepper in skillet in oil until meat is brown and vegetables are tender. Stir in remaining ingredients except rice. Cook 5-10 minutes, stirring constantly. Serve over rice. Yield: 4 servings.

Note: Can use 1 1/2-1 3/4 pounds steak with above recipe. If desired, 1-2 tablespoons of brown sugar may be sprinkled on top and stirred in for a sweeter, unusual flavor.
