BOTTOM LAYER:

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 unbaked pie shell

Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Add egg and mix well. Pour on bottom of pie shell.

TOP LAYER:

1 1/4 c. pumpkin
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. evaporated milk
2 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. ginger
Maple syrup
Nuts

Combine all ingredients. Carefully pour over cream cheese mix in shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes. Cool. Brush with maple syrup and decorate with nuts.
