LINGUINE WITH WHITE SAUCE 
8 oz. linguine
3 tbsp. olive juice
1/2 lg. yellow onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tbsp. flour
1 lb. chopped clams or 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can minced clams
1 c. chicken broth
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp. parsley
1/4 c. clam juice

Cook linguine as directed on package. Rinse in cold water; drain. In a heavy skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and add onion and garlic. Cook, uncovered, until onions are clear.

Blend in flour, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Add clams, liquids, and stir for about 4 minutes. Stir in cheese, parsley, and linguine. Serves 4 people.
