HOMEMADE BISCUIT | |
2 c. flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 4 tbsp. shortening 3/4 c. milk Mix flour, salt, baking powder and cut in shortening. Blend and add milk enough to make a soft dough. Turn dough on lightly floured board and knead lightly, about 1/2 minute. Roll 1/2" thick, cut with biscuit cutter. Bake on ungreased sheet in 425 degree oven for 15 or 20 minutes. |
