1 stick butter 1 c. sifted flour 3 tbsp. powdered sugar 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional) Extra confectioners' sugar Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy. Stir in flour gradually. Add nuts. Chill in refrigerator several hours or overnight. Roll dough a teaspoon at a time into marble sized balls and bake 1 or 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool 10-15 minutes and roll in loose confectioners' sugar to coat. |
