MEXICAN WEDDING COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. plain flour
1 c. chopped nuts
6 tbsp. confectioners sugar

Cream butter and shortening. Add vanilla. Add flour and mix until mixture looks like meal. Then add 6 tablespoons sugar. Roll into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Take up and roll in confectioners sugar.
