1 c. butter or 2 sticks butter
1 c. confectionery sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. plain flour
2 c. chopped pecans

Cream first 3 ingredients gradually; add flour and nuts. Mix by mixer and add nuts by hand. Form a ball and place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. While warm, roll in more confectionery sugar. Let cool and re-roll in more confectionery sugar.
